About this file

This is Amendment 0001 to Request for Quote Number 1333ND26QNB610122 for Roll Up Door Maintenance & Repair Services at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The amendment adds a mandatory site visit, extends key deadlines, and incorporates FAR Clause 52.237-1 regarding site inspection requirements. The site visit is scheduled for April 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. EST at NIST Building 225, Entrance Area, 100 Bureau Drive, Gaithersburg, Maryland, with attendees required to arrive by 9:45 a.m. Potential offerors must register their intention to attend by 12:00 p.m. ET on April 13, 2026, by emailing Ranae Armstrong at ranae.armstrong@nist.gov with company name, attendee names, email addresses, phone numbers, and citizenship status information. The inquiry deadline has been extended to April 15, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. ET, with questions directed to the contract specialist; any questions submitted after this deadline will not be accepted. The response deadline for quotations has been extended to April 24, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. ET.

Site access requires all visitors to present REAL ID Act-compliant state-issued identification or federally issued identification such as a passport, DOD CAC, or TSA Trusted Traveler ID; non-U.S. citizens must complete form NIST-1260 for background checks prior to campus entry. Failure to register for the site visit will result in denial of access. The amendment specifies that while offerors are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit, failure to inspect the site shall not constitute grounds for claims after contract award. Vendors bringing vehicles must present vehicle registration cards, and all visitors must obtain and wear Visitor's Badges throughout their time on campus.
