About this file
This Front-End Processing Information Bulletin provides instructions for accessing patent application documents submitted through the Patent Center system. The bulletin amends the Front-End Processing Manual with a new Appendix Fourteen detailing how to search for submissions using the Patent Center Support - Customer Support tool. Only evidentiary copies of submissions filed via Patent Center are viewable in this internal USPTO tool, which can be accessed from any USPTO network computer by navigating to the Patent Center website and signing in with USPTO credentials. Searches can be conducted by application number, attorney docket number, Patent Center identification number, customer number, or email to find associated applications and submissions containing documents that can be previewed or downloaded as PDFs. Requests for access to the Patent Center Support system should be emailed to the Patent Center team with login and organization details.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the USPTO seeking contractor support to manage the full life cycle of patent application processing from initial filing through final disposition. Offerors must thoroughly review the solicitation, statement of work, references, attachments, and glossary in Section J to fully understand the requirements, which include application intake, docketing, examination support, publication, issuance, and maintenance services.
