About this file
This document is an Addendum No. 2 for the Incorporated County of Los Alamos Procurement Division, specifically for Solicitation No. RFP25-61 regarding Library Management Software. The proposal due date has been extended to August 29, 2025, at 2:00 pm Mountain Time. The addendum provides clarifications and answers to potential proposers' questions about the solicitation, including details about current software systems in use at the Los Alamos Public Library such as Bibliotheca for RFID self-check and book security, Springshare for calendars and meeting room reservations, and Librarica for print time management.
The document reveals that the library currently uses Overdrive, Hoopla, and Kanopy for eBooks, and has no existing e-commerce platform. The solicitation seeks a comprehensive library management software solution, with proposers required to complete a Software Functionality Matrix. Additional system integration details include the use of Easy Proxy for Wall Street Journal access and a digital patron signature system for new library card registrations. The addendum clarifies that proposers should address the Scope of Services in Section 6 and software functionality in Section 10 of their proposal response format.
