About this file

This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 25-61 for Library Management Software issued by a County government. The RFP details a comprehensive Software Functionality Matrix for an Integrated Library System, requiring vendors to provide a cloud-hosted library management solution with extensive functionality across multiple operational areas including general system requirements, circulation, reporting, acquisitions, cataloging, public catalog, and serials management. The document is a detailed matrix where vendors must indicate how their software provides specific mandatory (MN) and optional features using a legend that includes standard functionality (S), modifications (M), third-party solutions (T), customization requirements (C), and inability to provide features (N).

Key functional requirements include cloud-based hosting, real-time access, third-party integrations, accessibility compliance, data migration capabilities, unlimited user access, help desk support, training provisions, software maintenance, bibliographic record importing, patron account management, digital resource integration, and comprehensive reporting capabilities. The matrix covers critical library operational needs such as circulation functions (check-in/out, notifications), cataloging (record management, authority control), public catalog features (online payments, mobile responsiveness), and serials management. Vendors are expected to demonstrate their solution's ability to meet these detailed technological and operational requirements through their responses in the matrix, with many features marked as mandatory, indicating they are essential for a responsive proposal.
