About this file

This is Addendum No. 1 to Invitation to Bid 27-02/AL issued by the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County, Florida on September 1st, 2026. The addendum provides clarification regarding cleaning services for grease traps, building and storm drain lines, lift stations, and wastewater tanks on an "as-needed" basis to support the Authority's operations. The bid must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. on September 16th, 2026. Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum by submitting the Vendor Acknowledgment Form and must submit their responses electronically through Bonfire. The solicitation establishes a term contract with firm fixed pricing, and bidders are responsible for reading and understanding all issued addendums.

The addendum addresses a pre-bid question regarding subcontracting authorization. The Authority clarified that no subcontracting is authorized under this solicitation, prohibiting prime contractors without specialized equipment from using qualified subcontractors to perform the required services. This restriction is referenced in Special Terms and Conditions Section 68. The solicitation does not include Small Business Enterprise (SBE) participation set-asides. All other terms and conditions of the original Invitation to Bid remain unchanged as of the addendum date.
