About this file

This is a Scope Description document for the Dallas Independent School District's Request for Proposal seeking qualified vendors for library and literacy materials and services. The RFP solicits print books, classroom collections, shelf-ready library books, MARC records, audiobooks, e-books, digital content licenses, and literacy platforms to support PK-12 curriculum, reading growth, student choice, and equitable access on a district-wide, as-needed basis. The contract term shall be three years with two successive one-year renewal options, not to exceed five years total, contingent upon the District's long-range needs and mutual consent of both parties. Either party must provide written notice of non-renewal at least ninety days prior to the expiration of the current contract term; failure by the District to timely exercise renewal options results in automatic expiration of all remaining options.

This RFP replaces the previous RFP TJ-206442 for Library Print, Digital, and Processing Services, and vendors awarded under that contract are encouraged to respond. The solicitation is issued in accordance with Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 200 requirements and may utilize local, state, federal, and grant-funded programs. All vendors, including sole-source providers, are encouraged to participate in this procurement opportunity.
