About this file

This is a Proposed Price Matrix form for mowing and property maintenance services solicited by the City of Brownsville, Texas. The City seeks to establish one or more contracts with qualified vendors to provide mowing and related maintenance services for vacant lot properties within city limits that violate City ordinances or require maintenance to meet public health, safety, and community appearance standards. Services will be provided on an as-needed, work order basis for City-owned, City-managed, or City-designated properties as determined by the City during the contract term.

The price matrix requires vendors to submit all-inclusive quotes covering labor, equipment, materials, supervision, transportation, disposal, overhead, and all other costs necessary to perform services. Pricing categories include mowing services for lots ranging from 25 feet by 100 feet (Standard Lot A) through 4 acres (Lot K), with additional per-acre pricing for properties exceeding 4 acres (Categories L and M). Debris removal is categorized by weight in four tiers from light (less than 1,000 lbs) through extreme (5,001 to 10,000 lbs), and trim services are similarly categorized. The form includes a separate category for grass or weeds exceeding 18 inches in height. Vendors may propose optional additional mowing-related or property maintenance services subject to City approval, though these optional services will not be evaluated or scored as part of the RFP, and the City is not obligated to purchase any proposed optional services.
