The E-Verify form requires all proposers to certify compliance with Florida Statute Section 448.095, confirming registration with the E-Verify System and verification of employment eligibility for all newly hired workers effective January 1, 2021. Proposers must also require all subcontractors to provide affidavits confirming they do not employ or contract with unauthorized aliens. The Town reserves the right to terminate any contract if it has good faith belief that a contractor or subcontractor has knowingly violated Florida employment verification statutes, with terminated contractors barred from future Town contracts for one year and liable for any additional costs incurred by the Town resulting from termination. Subcontractors' affidavits must be maintained for the duration of the subcontract and any extensions thereof.
