INITIAL TRAINING – LED BY U.S. PARK POLICE AND THIRD PARTY CONTRACTOR
SUBJECTS TO BE PRESENTED
The Contractor must coordinate with the COR and ensure that Command Center and Sentry Post Guards receive the training as detailed below. The hours listed in the “Hours” column are the recommended times needed for effective coverage of the material to include questions and answers, interactive tasks, and reviews/quizzes of the material. The Instructor shall use his/her expertise in evaluating the class’s progress in comprehending and applying the concepts and materials taught.
Command Center Security Guards: nine (9) hours and thirty (30) minutes or more of Closed Circuit Television, Use of Radio, Tour of Statue of Liberty Worksite, Importance of Documentation, and Requesting Park Service Assistance & Assistance from outside emergency response agencies.
Sentry Post Guards: 3 hours or more on the Use of Radio and the Importance of Documentation.
