About this file
The document is an attachment to a Request for Proposal (RFP) Solicitation No. BPM006379 issued by the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ), focusing on a certification requirement related to forced labor of ethnic Uyghurs. The solicitation involves AARC Consultants, LLC, a company based in Houston, Texas, and addresses compliance with Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) 35-394 regarding labor practices.
The solicitation appears to be for capacity development and technical assistance to small public drinking water systems, with a specific requirement for contractors to certify they do not use forced labor of ethnic Uyghurs in the People's Republic of China. The document provides exemptions for sole proprietorships, companies with fewer than ten employees, and non-profit organizations. AARC Consultants, LLC, represented by Rick Chainani, President, is required to attest to their labor practices as part of the contract process, with the certification being a mandatory component of the procurement.
