About this file

This document is a Data Item Description (DID) for a Test Plan, which outlines the plans and performance objectives for testing systems or equipment. The Test Plan provides the procuring activity with the test concept, objectives, requirements, methods, responsible activities, measures, and recording procedures to be used.

The Test Plan is applicable to various types of system and equipment tests, including design evaluation, engineering, qualification, human factors, operational, and acceptance tests. It requires the contractor to document their detailed plan for conducting tests and analyzing results to demonstrate how the system will satisfy the design specification requirements. The plan must include elements such as flow diagrams, milestones, participation, location, schedule, security, master test list, test objectives, equipment, instrumentation, and data reduction and analysis.
