Create and verify your GovTribe account
Create a GovTribe account and complete phone and email verification.
Create and verify your GovTribe account when you are starting a free trial, joining an existing account, or setting up a new user profile. Registration is not complete until GovTribe can verify both your mobile phone number and your email address.
If you are already blocked by an email, trial review, verification, password reset, login, or invite issue, start with Troubleshoot GovTribe account access.
What happens during registration
GovTribe uses registration and verification to protect customer accounts, reduce fraudulent trials, and confirm that the person creating the account can receive account-security messages.
| Step | What GovTribe checks | What you should expect |
|---|---|---|
| Create your account | Name, work email, mobile phone number, password, terms acceptance, and browser verification. | GovTribe creates a pending user account and sends you into verification. |
| Verify your phone number | Whether your phone number is a mobile number that can receive SMS text messages. | GovTribe sends a text-message code and asks you to enter it. |
| Verify your email address | Whether you can receive email at the address used for registration. | GovTribe sends a verification link to your email address. |
| Sign in | Whether both phone and email verification are complete. | GovTribe shows a success message and asks you to log in. |
If either verification step is unfinished, GovTribe may send you back to phone or email verification the next time you try to log in.
Before you register
Use information you can access during the whole registration process. Changing the wrong email or phone number after registration has started may require GovTribe to help you finish.
| Requirement | Use this | Avoid this |
|---|---|---|
| A work email address you can receive now. | Personal, disposable, undeliverable, or blocked email domains. | |
| Phone | A mobile number that can receive SMS text messages. | Landlines, office desk phones, VoIP numbers, Google Voice numbers, shared phones, or phones that are not available to you. |
| Browser | A current browser that can load Cloudflare Turnstile verification. | Browser extensions, privacy tools, user-agent spoofing, or cached data that blocks security checks. |
| Trial context | Your real name and organization context. | Multiple trial attempts with inconsistent account details. |
GovTribe supports new account registration and phone verification for mobile numbers in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States. If your mobile number is outside those countries, contact GovTribe before retrying registration.
Create your account
Open registration. Go to GovTribe registration, or choose the trial or account-creation option from Plans and Pricing.
Enter your account details. Add your name, work email address, mobile phone number, and password.
Accept the terms. Review and accept the terms of service.
Complete browser verification. Wait for the browser verification check to finish.
Submit the form. Send the registration form to start account verification.
If GovTribe says your email address cannot be used, use a work email address if you have one. If the email is a legitimate work address and still fails, review work email and blocked email addresses before contacting support.
If GovTribe says your trial request cannot be automatically approved, do not keep submitting the same form. Review trial requests that need review so the team has the right account context if manual review is needed.
Verify your phone number
After registration, GovTribe opens the phone verification step and sends an SMS code to the mobile number you entered. Enter the most recent code you received, then choose Verify.
Use Resend only when you have waited long enough for the text message to arrive and you are sure you are checking the right phone. Repeated resend attempts can trigger a temporary "too many attempts" message. When that happens, wait a few minutes before trying again.
GovTribe supports phone verification by SMS text message. It does not support verification by voice call, email, landline, office phone, VoIP number, or Google Voice number.
If the code does not arrive:
- Confirm the phone number is a mobile number, not a landline or office number.
- Confirm the country code and number are correct.
- Confirm the phone can receive SMS messages from automated verification services.
- Wait a few minutes before using Resend.
- Contact GovTribe if the number is correct and the code still does not arrive.
If you entered the wrong phone number or used a phone you cannot access, contact GovTribe. During initial registration, you may not be able to change the pending verification phone number yourself.
Verify your email address
After phone verification, GovTribe asks you to check your email for a verification link. Open the verification email and follow the link to confirm the email address connected to your account.
Email verification links expire after about 60 minutes. If the link is expired, missing, or blocked by your email system, return to the verification page and use Resend Verification Email.
If the verification email does not arrive:
- Check spam, junk, quarantine, and focused-inbox folders.
- Search your inbox for GovTribe.
- Ask your IT team to allow GovTribe account and verification emails.
- Use Resend Verification Email, then wait before trying again.
- Contact GovTribe if the address is correct and repeated verification emails do not arrive.
If you used the wrong email address, contact GovTribe. GovTribe may need to help connect the registration to the correct email address.
Sign in after verification
When both phone and email verification are complete, GovTribe shows a success message and asks you to log in. Use the same email address and password you used during registration.
New trial users may be sent to trial intake or the next setup step after login. Users who were invited to an existing account may be sent into the account or workspace connected to the invite.
If login asks you to verify your phone number or email again, follow the verification link shown on the login page. That usually means one of the two verification steps is still pending for the account you are trying to use.
If registration is blocked
Use Troubleshoot GovTribe account access if GovTribe rejects your email address, cannot automatically approve a trial request, does not send a verification message, sends login back to verification, or opens an invite in the wrong account.
Do not keep creating new registrations to work around a blocked email address, pending phone verification, trial review, or invite mismatch. Repeated attempts can make the account harder to review.
Do not send passwords or verification codes
GovTribe may need account details to help troubleshoot registration, but you should never send your password, SMS verification code, email verification link, or two-factor authentication code.
