GovTribe

Choose the right GovTribe plan

Compare GovTribe plans, data coverage, team limits, exports, credits, and credit-powered GovTribe AI, MCP, and automation usage before choosing or changing a subscription.

Choose a GovTribe plan by starting with the work your team needs to do: which data you need, how many people need access, how much capture work you manage in GovTribe, how often you export records, and whether you will use credit-powered features such as GovTribe AI, GovTribe MCP, or automations.

GovTribe plans control your subscription access. GovTribe credits pay for credit-powered GovTribe AI, MCP, automation, and other metered work. They work together, but they are separate decisions.

Choose the plan that's right for you

Use this table when you need a quick recommendation before comparing details.

Choose this planWhen it usually fits
LaunchYou are an individual user focused on federal research, opportunity discovery, vendor and buyer profiles, saved searches, and a small number of active pursuits.
Launch PlusYou want the Launch workflow, but you also need state and local records, states, jurisdictions, NIGP categories, and UNSPSC categories.
GrowthYou have a team, need more exports, use contact search and contact groups, want integrations, and manage capture work across more than one person.
Growth PlusYou want the Growth workflow plus state and local coverage.
ScaleYou need more users, higher export capacity, invoice billing, and dedicated account guidance.

If you are deciding between the standard and Plus version of a plan, the main question is data coverage. Choose Plus when state and local opportunities, awards, buyers, jurisdictions, NIGP categories, or UNSPSC categories are part of your market.

What changes by plan

Most GovTribe plans include the core research capability: search, opportunity and award data, buyer and vendor profiles, files, reports, saved searches, GovTribe AI access, and GovTribe MCP access when credits are enabled.

The main differences are limits, team features, integrations, support, and state and local coverage. Launch Plus and Growth Plus keep the same limits as Launch and Growth, but add state and local data coverage.

Core limits

Live support in GovTribe means live chat support with GovTribe customer success team members who are trained in the product and government contract data. They can help you use GovTribe, understand features, and perform your own research; they do not perform research for you. Live support is available from inside the GovTribe app through the HubSpot live chat widget. Live chat support starts with Growth plans and is also included on Growth Plus and Scale. Launch plans include basic support.

How credits fit

GovTribe credits are the account balance for GovTribe AI, GovTribe MCP, automations, and other metered work. Credits do not upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan, and turning credits on does not change the plan shown on the Account page.

Credits currently power:

  • GovTribe AI: credit-billed conversations, research, summaries, workflows, and long-context AI usage.
  • GovTribe MCP: usage from connected AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Codex, Gemini-compatible workflows, and other MCP-compatible clients.
  • Automations: scheduled or event-triggered GovTribe AI runs that need credit-powered access.

Free trials include 100 credits. Trial accounts can use included trial credits, but they need a paid subscription before buying more credits.

Paid accounts can use credits in three ways:

Credit optionHow it works
Prepaid creditsCredits already on the account, including trial credits, purchased packs, plan grants, sales grants, custom invoice credits, or other account grants.
Pay-As-You-GoUsage after prepaid credits are depleted, when the account has an active paid subscription, payment information on file, and Pay-As-You-Go is available.
Auto-RefillGovTribe automatically buys the selected prepaid credit pack when the account balance falls below the threshold chosen by the account owner.

The current credit page shows Pay-As-You-Go at $0.09 per credit and prepaid packs of 3,500, 8,500, 15,000, and 25,000 credits. Larger packs are priced at a discount compared with Pay-As-You-Go.

Use Credits to enable or disable credit-powered features, buy credit packs, configure auto-refill, review usage, set usage alerts, and understand account rate tiers.

Credits and legacy AI limits

Some legacy accounts may still have a monthly GovTribe AI limit instead of full credit billing for AI usage. When an eligible account owner enables GovTribe credits, GovTribe can remove the legacy monthly AI cap and move future GovTribe AI usage to credit billing.

This transition affects credit-powered AI usage only. It does not change the subscription plan, plan name, user limit, export limit, or other plan-controlled features.

Before changing plans

GovTribe checks current account usage before allowing some plan changes. A lower plan may be unavailable until the account is under the selected plan's limits.

Common blockers include:

  • Users: the account has more users than the selected plan allows.
  • Active pursuits: the workspace has more active or triage pursuits than the selected plan allows.
  • Zapier or personal access tokens: the account is using integration access that is not available on the selected plan.

Some accounts, including Scale, Enterprise, and certain legacy accounts, cannot modify plans directly from the Account page. Those accounts cannot use self-service plan buttons; use the Contact Sales form when you need help expanding or changing that kind of plan.

Account-specific exceptions can also exist. GovTribe starts from the plan's standard feature set, but your account may have custom settings or legacy access that differ from the public plan card. Use the Account page to review your current plan and contact GovTribe if something looks different from the public plan comparison.

For renewal timing, cancellation questions, reactivation paths, invoice downloads, refunds, and legacy-plan limitations, see Manage renewals, cancellations, and invoices.

  • Account: Review your current plan, payment method, users, and account invoices.
  • Manage renewals, cancellations, and invoices: Review billing status, invoices, cancellations, refunds, and reactivation expectations.
  • Credits: Enable credit-powered features, review balances, buy credit packs, configure auto-refill, and audit usage.
  • GovTribe MCP: Connect GovTribe MCP to supported AI tools and manage MCP API keys.
  • GovTribe AI: Use GovTribe AI conversations, skills, daily briefings, automations, and personalization.
