The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), on behalf of the U.S. House of Representatives (hereinafter "House"), is seeking qualified contractors to provide any combination of the following technology services consisting of Correspondence Management Systems Services, Maintenance Services, and/or Systems Administration Services to the House. The House establishes and publishes this Request for Proposals in order to enter into a contractual relationship with contractors who can provide the services defined in the Statement of Work. Pre-proposal Conference: A pre-proposal conference will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Please register for the conference by sending an e-mail to Kyle.griggs@mail.house.gov no later than Noon, Friday, June 3. Participants are limited to three per vendor. The location of the conference will be provided upon registration. Questions: Questions regarding the solicitation should be e-mailed to Kyle Griggs, Contracts Specialist, at Kyle.griggs@mail.house.gov no later than 2:00 PM local time on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. The US House of Representatives, along with other Legislative Branch procurement offices, are hosting a Legislative Branch Industry Day on June 27, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the U.S. Capitol Visitors Center in the Congressional Auditorium. This event is for contractors interested in doing business with the legislative branch and is open to any business. If you are interested in attending, please send an e-mail by June 24, 2019 to aocprocurement@aoc.gov with the names of each attendee from your company. Acquiring goods and services at the best possible value is the goal of the Office of Acquisitions Management. To accomplish this, the office works with Members, Committees, Leadership, and House Officers to assess their needs and fulfill their requirements. The office is committed to excellence, integrity, fairness, accountability, and innovation on behalf of its customers and in support of their missions. The Office of Acquisitions Management is comprised of three groups: Purchasing, Contracts, and Office Supply & Gift Shop. Purchasing: Purchasing Agents process purchases for Members, Committees and House Officers. Purchasing Agents also process certain dollar threshold orders for equipment for CAO units. Contracts: Contracts Specialists are aligned by customer or program office and include Members, Committees and House Officers. Their goal is to provide an acquisition program that is fair, competitive and accountable, and to obtain the best value for the House. They negotiate contracts from office supplies to complex IT solutions with vendors and ensure those contracts meet House needs. Contracts Specialists also provide training in procurement topics. Office Supply & Gift Shop: The Office Supply Service provides goods and services to assist all House offices and the Gift Shop provides souvenirs and gifts to Members, staff and the public. .

Deployable Communications and Broadcast Transit Case Solution THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This is a Request for Information (RFI) and will not result in an award. The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), on behalf of the U.S. House of Representatives (hereinafter "House"), is seeking capability statements from interested vendors as part of a two-step Request for Information (RFI) process to assess the feasibility of integrating standard rack mount Information Technology (IT), communications and video broadcast systems into rugged transit cases in support of deployed operational contingencies which will allow for autonomous operation once setup. The CAO is one of three Officers of the U. S. House of Representatives along with the Clerk and the Sergeant at Arms. The Officers, together with the Architect of the Capitol and other House offices, jointly provide a foundation of services to facilitate the work activities of the House, its Members and supporting staff. This RFI will be accomplished in a two-phased process. During Phase I, vendors will be pre-qualified and those qualified will be invited to submit information during Phase II of this RFI. Selection criteria include proven experience in integrating/packaging IT, communications and video broadcast systems for rapid deployment. Phase II vendors will receive additional details for use in preparing their responses to this RFI. Phase II of this RFI will seek information on industry wide methodologies, concepts, and technologies that describe the capabilities gained by employing a transit case solution. Solutions should identify integration concepts, shipment, setup and operational concepts, environmental and safety, and power. Submissions should discuss cost, complexity, operational capabilities, and maintenance support of all systems. It is anticipated that any design shall meet FCC, UI, CE, and MIL-S-901 requirements. Interested vendors are requested to submit Phase I capability statements via email to Christine.Stewart@mail.house.gov by 2:00 p.m. Eastern on May 31, 2013.
