About this opportunity
The State of Florida Department of Veterans' Affairs (FDVA) has issued an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the procurement of a secure web-hosted maintenance software package (SaaS/software as a service). The purpose of this contract is to establish an agreement for the complete provision of a maintenance software system, utilizing the newest technologies, which will serve all of FDVA's eight existing state veterans' nursing homes and one domiciliary. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing the software system, as well as subsequent training, monthly system access subscription, technical support, and system maintenance. The contractor must be the publisher of the system software and the owner of the intellectual property and source code. FDVA requires the new system to be fully operational prior to June 30, 2023. The initial term of the agreement is for three years, with an optional one-time renewal of up to three additional years. FDVA will evaluate bids based on the quality and timeliness of deliverables.
The ITB does not mention any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. Additionally, the document does not provide any information regarding incumbent vendors, current contractors, or existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration. The contract price is not to exceed a total amount specified in the contractor's bid, but no specific award values or budget ranges are provided.
