About this opportunity
The City of Dania Beach is soliciting proposals for uniforms and custom apparel supply services through a Request for Proposal (RFP) process. The procurement seeks qualified vendors to provide a comprehensive range of apparel items including polo shirts, T-shirts, knit shirts, woven/dress shirts, sweatshirts, fleece jackets, caps, outerwear, and work pants/shorts in assorted sizes (XS-5XL with inclusive options for tall and petite fits) for multiple City departments. Vendors must offer firm percentage discounts off catalog list pricing, fixed pricing for customization services such as screen printing and embroidery, a dedicated sales representative, online ordering capabilities, and turnaround times for decorated items. Deliveries must be made FOB Destination Prepaid and Added within thirty days of proof approval, with vendors required to notify the City of out-of-stock items within three working days of order receipt. The contract evaluation will be scored on firm qualifications (30 points), approach and technical soundness (35 points), price proposal (25 points), and references (10 points). Proposals must be submitted electronically via the City's e-Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/daniabeachfl by 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025, with a question submission deadline of December 15, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. The initial contract term is three years with an option to renew for one additional two-year period subject to budget approval and written notification.
The City of Dania Beach does not impose set-aside designations or restrictions limiting competition to specific organization types; however, the City encourages participation from all segments of the business community. Vendors must maintain comprehensive insurance coverage including Commercial General Liability ($1,000,000 per occurrence/$2,000,000 aggregate), Business Automobile Liability ($1,000,000 combined single limit), and Workers' Compensation at statutory limits, with the City named as additional insured. Successful proposers must comply with standard certifications including drug-free workplace certification, non-collusion affidavit, public entity crimes form, anti-human trafficking affidavit, and certificate of accuracy. The City does not guarantee minimum order quantities or dollar values, as departments will place orders as needed throughout the contract term, making the award value contingent upon actual departmental procurement. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive informalities, and award the contract to the most responsible and responsive proposer in its best interest. No incumbent vendor or prior contract information is specified in the available procurement documents.
