About this opportunity
The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) has issued an Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) for a Unified Operations Center (UOC) Solution. The UOC Solution will provide a comprehensive customer management infrastructure, including customer service operations, business area operations, and communications management to enhance interactions between AHCA and its stakeholders, such as Medicaid recipients, providers, and partners. The ITN seeks a vendor to develop, implement, and provide ongoing operations and maintenance services for the UOC. Key deliverables include a customer experience strategy and methodology, as well as the capability to meet the specified technical and business requirements. Respondents must demonstrate experience with large healthcare systems. The initial contract term is anticipated to be from August 1, 2022 through July 31, 2029, with optional renewal periods of up to three additional years. AHCA has estimated the total contract value over the original term to be $161,359,923.
The solicitation is open to all interested vendors, and AHCA reserves the right to reduce the overall payment amount by at least 5% if the contract is renewed. The procurement process has included several addenda to modify the solicitation timeline and address vendor questions. The solicitation was previously subject to a formal protest, which has since been resolved. AHCA may require respondents to provide a full or partial demonstration of the proposed products or services, and may consult with subject matter experts from other state agencies during the evaluation and negotiation phases.
