About this opportunity
The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (CFTOD) is seeking proposals from qualified communications firms to provide strategic communications, community outreach, social media management, and marketing services. The District requires a range of deliverables, including strategic communications plans, messaging frameworks, implementation strategies, brand development, graphic design, media and promotional tools, work plans, and timelines. The successful proposer must demonstrate a strong capacity for outreach and the ability to increase CFTOD's brand awareness and share the District's messaging with community stakeholders, potential partners, government officials, and media. The contract will be awarded on a task authorization basis, with the District assigning individual tasks as needed during the contract term. Vendors must register on the PlanetBids platform to obtain bid documents and submit questions and proposals, which are due by February 14, 2024.
The CFTOD has expressed a preference for local, veteran-owned small businesses, and opportunity zone businesses on most solicitations. However, the RFP does not provide specific details on any set-aside programs, incumbent vendors, or budget ranges. The District is committed to fair and open competition through the use of the PlanetBids platform, which ensures bid transparency by publicly posting all information.
