About this opportunity
The State of Illinois, through the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), is issuing a small purchase with sole source conditions for The Partnership for Inclusive Disaster Strategies to plan and coordinate a one and a half day conference. The purpose of the conference is to strengthen service delivery and ensure equitable access for Illinois residents with disabilities during disasters. The scope of work includes collaborating with IDPH's Office of Preparedness and Response to select speakers, conduct an in-person and virtual tabletop exercise, and provide language access services and accessible post-production archives. Vendors must meet mandatory qualifications related to various conference planning and coordination tasks, as well as tabletop exercise planning and coordination. IDPH requires an all-inclusive quote with an itemized breakdown of costs. The contract term is from March 18, 2024 to June 30, 2024, with an estimated 80 total hours of work. IDPH reserves the right to reject all offers or individual offers that fail to meet any requirement.
This opportunity is designated as a small purchase with sole source conditions, which limits competition to The Partnership for Inclusive Disaster Strategies. The contract may be funded with federal dollars, and vendors must comply with the State's Standard Terms and Conditions, as well as the Standard Illinois Certifications. These include requirements related to eligibility, ethical conduct, labor and employment practices, environmental regulations, and information technology accessibility. Failure to provide truthful certifications or maintain compliance could result in the contract being voided and the vendor facing civil or criminal penalties. The contract is not assignable without prior written consent, and subcontractors must be approved. The estimated budget range for this procurement is not provided.
