About this opportunity
Augusta-Richmond County, Georgia is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) Item #26-300 through its Central Services Department-Fleet Management Division to gather vendor information on comprehensive fleet fuel management solutions and services. The procurement seeks detailed information regarding fuel card programs, fleet fuel management system capabilities, integration with existing platforms (Faster Web fleet management and ChargePoint electric vehicle management systems), onsite fueling station management, advanced reporting and data analytics, security and compliance measures, and support for alternative fuels and electric vehicle sustainability tracking. Augusta operates approximately 2,500 vehicles and equipment across all departments requiring improved fuel management, monitoring, and cost control. Vendor responses must include company background, years of industry experience, senior leadership experience, number of agencies currently served, system software requirements, unique features, and three customer references with current contact information. The RFI response deadline is Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with written questions due by Friday, January 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Submissions must include one original hard copy and one electronic copy on a USB drive delivered to Andy Penick, Procurement Director, at 535 Telfair Street, Suite 605, Augusta, Georgia 30901. The proposal must not exceed sixty pages, excluding cover letters, required forms, tabs, and appendices, and vendors must provide detailed pricing model information including per-card fees, transaction fees, discount structures, rebates, incentives, and startup and implementation costs.
This RFI is for information gathering purposes only and no award will be made at this time; the information will support future Request for Proposal development. Vendors must demonstrate compliance with Georgia E-Verify requirements for any subsequent contract work exceeding $2,499 and submit business licenses and applicable contractor licenses with their responses. There are no specific set-aside designations or restrictions on organizational types that can respond to this RFI. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the procurement documents. The solicitation requires integration with the city's existing Faster Web fleet management system and ChargePoint electric vehicle management infrastructure. Interested vendors should obtain RFI documents through official sources including ARCBid, EUNA OpenBids, Georgia Procurement Registry, or the Augusta Procurement Department office. Questions must be submitted in writing only via email to procbidandcontract@augustaga.gov, and all submissions must be received during normal business hours (8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday); no RFI responses will be accepted by email or withdrawn for ninety days after opening.
