About this opportunity
Collier County Parks and Recreation Division in Florida is conducting an informal Quick Quote procurement for the purchase of two new ski boats and one tandem axle trailer to support the water ski and wake-surf instruction program at Sugden Regional Park, which serves children, teens, adults, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. Each ski boat must be a 2026 model-year, 20-foot fiberglass-hulled vessel with 5-6 person seating capacity, featuring an inboard GM 6.2L engine with minimum 450 horsepower, tournament-approved three-event waterski boat specifications, and equipment including zero-off GPS speed control, Bimini top, premium mirrors, synthetic flooring, and comprehensive safety equipment. The tandem axle trailer must include disc brakes, 6,000 lbs GVWR, and a 4" tubular steel galvanized frame with NMMA and NATM certification. Vendors must submit sealed quotes electronically through the Collier County Procurement Services Division Online Bidding System with pricing for two ski boats (unit and total costs), one trailer (unit and total costs), four manuals (unit and total costs), and delivery (unit and total costs). A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 6, 2026, at 10:00am at Sugden Regional Park; written questions must be submitted by April 10, 2026, at 3:00pm; and all quote responses are due by April 15, 2026, at 3:00pm. Delivery must occur between 9:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, at the park with no weekend or holiday deliveries accepted, and all goods are FOB destination with no substitutions permitted without prior county authorization.
Bidders must hold a Florida Certificate of Authority to Conduct Business, maintain active E-Verify enrollment at the time of submission, possess appropriate business tax receipts and professional licenses, and submit a W-9 form along with proof of Florida business status via SunBiz. All vendors must acknowledge Collier County Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, comply with federal, state, and local laws including OSHA standards and Florida storage tank regulations, maintain commercial insurance coverage with performance bonds at 100 percent of contract value, and pass background check requirements through Collier County Facilities Management. Vendors must also comply with immigration statutes, the Immigration Reform and Control Act, Florida wood products preferences, and public records law, while ensuring any subcontractors similarly comply with E-Verify requirements. No set-aside designations or incumbent vendors are identified in the procurement documents. Award will be made to the responsive vendor submitting the lowest quote, and the contract constitutes a one-time purchase with firm pricing for the duration of the purchase order. No specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the available procurement documentation.
