UNSPSC 25111933: Tide clocks

UNSPSC 25111933 Tide clocks is a Commodity code showing no recent state and local procurement activity aligned with its nominal scope. The eight recent opportunities posted between March and July 2026 — all tagged with this code in government databases — solicit marine vessels, outboard motors, boat lifts, and jet boat frame fabrication for law enforcement and parks operations, none of which are tide clocks or timing instruments. The code appears to be a data-entry or classification error in the issuing bodies' procurement systems rather than a reflection of actual purchasing demand for the product.

The opportunities span three states. Chatham County, Georgia issued two ITBs in March and July 2026 for a marine patrol response vessel (27-foot center console with integrated navigation and safety systems, due August 10, 2026) and two Mercury outboard motors (due May 4, 2026). Collier County, Florida (Parks and Recreation and Sheriff's Office) posted four solicitations across March through April 2026 for ski boats, trailers, and a boat-lift installation at Caxambas Park (ITB due April 3, 2026). Marion County, Oregon issued an RFQ in April 2026 for Stryker jet boat frame fabrication. Sourcewell, a Minnesota cooperative purchasing vehicle, issued an RFP in May 2026 for Law Enforcement Equipment (response due June 16, 2026) on behalf of five Washington counties and other participating jurisdictions nationwide. None of these solicitations reference tide clocks, and the code assignment appears disconnected from the actual work being procured.
