About this opportunity
The City of Philadelphia is soliciting bids on office renovation work for the 11th floor, with bids due August 20, 2026. This is a micro purchase under $45,000 (adjusted annually by CPI-U from January 1, 2020 and rounded to the nearest $1,000). The contract will be awarded as a whole or by line item, whichever serves the City's best interest, to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Mandatory site visits are required before bid submission to obtain accurate measurements for location-specific work. Bidders must quote all items to be eligible for award; any deviation from specified dimensions may result in automatic disqualification. All quotes must be submitted electronically through PHLContracts and are valid for 60 days from submission. Prices must be quoted net, exclusive of taxes, with FOB Destination delivery at quoted prices.
The contract term is 365 days from the effective date with no extensions permitted. Sellers must maintain General Liability Insurance with a minimum limit of $500,000 per occurrence, Workers' Compensation insurance at statutory limits, and Automobile Liability Insurance with $300,000 per occurrence limit if applicable. Submission of a fully executed Consent and Authorization Agreement (PHLContracts-Consent_Authorization BID B2727714.pdf) is a prerequisite for responsiveness; vendors may submit it by attaching a scan to their profile during registration or including it with their first bid.
An LGBTQ Applicant Data Form is attached; submission is voluntary and collects demographic information on LGBTQ business ownership and certification status through NGLCC/Independence Business Alliance or other third-party certifying agencies including minority supplier councils and women's business enterprise networks. The City will use collected data to identify and expand its vendor database and may make the information publicly available.
No questions due date, pre-bid meeting, or anticipated award date is specified in the source materials. Do not deliver or provide services until formally notified by the department.
