About this opportunity
Forty Niners Stadium Management Company LLC is soliciting proposals for on-call electrical maintenance and repair services at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks to establish a bench of up to three qualified electrical contractors to provide comprehensive electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations through individual task orders. Proposers must hold a valid C-10 Electrical Contractor license and demonstrate experience with complex electrical systems in large facilities, including having at least four current service contracts for facilities over 500,000 square feet in the San Francisco Bay area. The project manager must have a minimum of four years of experience managing similar projects, and contractors must have completed electrical system installation work on at least two facilities over 250,000 square feet in the past 24 months. The evaluation will be based on a 100-point scoring system: 35 points for project team qualifications, 35 points for technical capabilities, and 30 points for cost. Key dates include a non-mandatory pre-proposal site visit on August 26, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. PST, with proposals due on September 18, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. PST.
The Stadium Manager is committed to increasing contracting opportunities for small businesses in Santa Clara County and will encourage the use of local small business subcontractors for individual task orders. The initial contract term is three years, with the potential for two additional one-year extensions, bringing the total possible contract duration to five years. While specific budget details are not explicitly stated, the exemplar contract indicates a total contract value not to exceed $250,000 per contract year. Contractors will be required to comply with prevailing wage regulations, maintain comprehensive insurance coverage with minimum limits of $2 million for general and automobile liability, and provide performance and payment bonds. The contract includes provisions for labor rates based on prevailing wage rates, with potential 3% annual adjustments, and allows for markup on materials and equipment rentals. Contractors must also provide a one-year warranty on all work performed and meet strict labor compliance, safety, and regulatory standards, including Department of Industrial Relations registration and workforce regulations.
