About this opportunity
Evans County Charter School System is seeking bids on two electric combi ovens and one tilting kettle under IFB with a bid deadline of July 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., with written questions due by June 23, 2023.
The scope specifies two electric combi ovens (Vulcan Model ABC7E-208 or equal) for delivery to Claxton Elementary School and one electric tilting kettle (Vulcan Model K20ELT or equal) for delivery to Claxton Middle High School. Bidders must submit separate line-item pricing for cost of item, freight, and installation; fuel surcharges are prohibited. The contract term is July 18, 2023 through September 15, 2023, with optional extension up to three additional months at the same bid pricing under mutual written agreement, and potential renewal for up to four additional one-year terms based on vendor performance. Payment is due within 30 days of receipt of properly invoiced goods following inspection and acceptance by the School Food Authority.
Award is contingent upon available budget funds and approval of the Evans County Charter School System Board of Education. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting all terms, conditions, and specifications within approximately 60 days of bid opening. For bids exceeding $25,000, vendors must complete debarment and suspension verification; bids over $100,000 require lobbying certification. Vendors must demonstrate liability insurance with specified minimum coverage limits and maintain comprehensive HACCP plans with 24/7 recall capability.
