The scope encompasses a field study documenting existing pavement slopes and features, removal of approximately 277 cubic yards of full-depth asphalt concrete, installation of approximately 79 tons of Class 2 aggregate base, placement of approximately 560 tons of hot-mix asphalt concrete, and restoration of disturbed utility boxes and items. The contract is estimated to commence October 15, 2026 and expire December 31, 2027. An optional site inspection is scheduled September 3, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Written questions are due September 4, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. The proposed award date is September 18, 2026. Caltrans requires at least two price quotes from certified SB/MB or DVBE entities before award; therefore, the quote submission deadline may be extended if insufficient quotes are received. Price Quote Proposal line items include a lump-sum field study, removal by cubic yard, aggregate base by ton, new asphalt concrete by ton, restoration of disturbed items, an hourly rate for unforeseen labor, and a five percent contingency for materials and permits.
