About this opportunity
Hanover County, Virginia's Department of General Services is soliciting lump-sum bids through a Quick Quote to manufacture, deliver, and install updated campus signage for the Hanover County Administration Complex, with bids due November 12, 2026. Bidders must register in the eVA Internet e-procurement solution and pay associated vendor transaction fees, and failure to register results in bid rejection. The County will award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
The project covers nine line items: five monument signs (Primary Campus Administration, Main Campus Accessible Route Multi-Sign, Martha Ann Fields Complex, Chenault-Weems Building, and Historic Clerk's Office & Museum), a campus traffic control and regulatory signage lot, and three further lots covering secondary building monuments, wayfinding and parking directional signs, and mobilization, delivery, and installation services. All signage must follow the provided Sign Standard Specs and match existing monuments at the Bucky Stanley and Wickham Buildings, including fabricated 3-D county seals. The seal standards prohibit altering, retyping, stretching, or recoloring the seal beyond approved options.
Vendors submit a Vendor Data Sheet (Attachment A) listing at least three recent references, years in business, and eVA vendor identification, and provide State Corporation Commission registration information via Attachment B. Bid prices remain valid for 90 days from submission. Prime contractors receive payment within 30 days of invoice or delivery, whichever is later, and must pay subcontractors within seven days of receiving County payment or give written notice of any withholding with stated reasons. The County is tax-exempt on tangible personal property, and contractors pay applicable taxes separately from contract pricing.
