About this file

Addendum III to a Quick Quote solicitation issued by Hanover County, Virginia's Finance and Management Services Department clarifies requirements for the Hanover County Complex Signage project. The project involves manufacturing, delivering, and installing updated campus signage for the Hanover County Administration Complex, covering commodities including miscellaneous signs, ADA signs, metal signs, and wood signs. The original solicitation, dated October 27, 2026, required bids prior to 10:00 AM on November 12, 2026. This addendum, issued October 30, 2026, modifies the bid requirements by eliminating the need for Attachment C, while all other terms and conditions of the original Quick Quote remain unchanged. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum either prior to the due date and time or attach the acknowledgment to their proposal; signature on the addendum does not substitute for a signature on the original bid document.

The project encompasses nine line items including five monument signs at various campus locations, campus traffic control and regulatory signage, secondary building monuments, wayfinding and parking directional signs, and mobilization, delivery, and installation services. All signage must comply with provided Sign Standard Specifications and match existing monuments at the Bucky Stanley and Wickham Buildings, including fabricated 3-D county seals with restricted alteration parameters. Bidders must submit a Vendor Data Sheet listing at least three recent references, years in business, and eVA vendor identification, along with State Corporation Commission registration information. Bid prices are valid for 90 days from submission, with prime contractors receiving payment within 30 days of invoice or delivery, whichever is later. The County will award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and is tax-exempt on tangible personal property, with contractors responsible for applicable taxes separate from contract pricing.
