About this opportunity

Palm Beach County is soliciting ground application services for exotic wetland and vegetation control under an Environmental Resource Management (ERM) program, with proposals due July 15, 2026.

The solicitation is subject to Palm Beach County's Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and Minority/Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) participation goals. Prime contractors must complete Schedules 1 through 4 documenting all subcontractor and subconsultant participation, their SBE or non-SBE designation, and the dollar amount or percentage of work each will perform. Schedule 1 must accompany the bid; Schedules 3 and 3(a) track contracted amounts, change orders, and work completion percentages during execution; Schedule 4 documents actual payments made to subcontractors and requires subcontractor signature and notarization. Separate forms are required for second and third-tier subcontractors where applicable. Primes may not request signatures on Schedule 4 unless payment has been made.

The scope involves ground application of herbicides or other control agents in wetland and exotic vegetation environments. Subcontractor vendor codes are available through the Office of Small Business Development website. Violations of the SBE Ordinance may be reported to the OSBD through the complaint form on their website.
