The estimated construction budget for this contract is $595,000.00, and there will be one Alternate for the project. The City may award the project based on the base bid, a combination of the base bid and selected alternates, or the base bid and all alternates, depending on what serves the City's best interest. The project includes various requirements, such as meeting subcontracting goals under the Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Program, adhering to the Local Preference Program Ordinance, and complying with the Veteran-Owned Small Business Preference Program and Responsible Bidder Ordinance. Bidders must also meet prevailing wage rate requirements and follow the Heat Illness Ordinance. The work is to be substantially completed within 240 calendar days.
This opportunity is open to all qualified bidders, but the City's procurement policies include set-aside designations and preferences for certain types of organizations, such as small businesses, disadvantaged enterprises, and veteran-owned businesses. The City may also have incumbent vendors or current contractors that would need to be considered during the evaluation process.
