About this opportunity

This state and local contracting opportunity is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) - Procurement on behalf of the state's Print and Mail Management (PMM) organization. The RFP seeks to replace the existing continuous feed printers with three cutsheet printers - two using MICR toner and one using regular toner. The printers must meet specific hardware and performance requirements, and the successful bidder will be responsible for the delivery, installation, training, and maintenance of the new equipment. The RFP includes a detailed timeline, with the proposal due date of October 4, 2023, and an anticipated contract start date of November 15, 2023. Bidders must provide comprehensive pricing schedules covering one-time and recurring costs, and the State reserves the right to award multiple, split, or optional-use contracts.

The RFP covers the jurisdictions of Ingham County and the City of Lansing. While the RFP does not mention any set-aside designations, it indicates the State may consider the bidder's Michigan economic impact, supplier diversity program, and other qualifications in the evaluation. The RFP does not provide any information on incumbent vendors or current contractors, nor does it specify a budget range or potential award value. The successful bidder must meet strict Service Level Agreements, with financial penalties for non-compliance.
