About this opportunity

Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) is pursuing a single/sole source procurement for Curriculum Associates' i-Ready Partner Services, a comprehensive online diagnostic assessment and instructional platform for grades K-8 in math and reading. The procurement covers site licenses for i-Ready Assessment and Personalized Instruction across multiple student population tiers ranging from 200 to 1,200 students. Deliverables include a Teacher Toolbox with instructional materials, professional learning resources, and implementation support, which encompasses dedicated professional learning site licenses, learning sessions, and consultant services. The procurement period is from April 8, 2025, to April 22, 2025, with a seven-calendar day response window for potential vendors to demonstrate equivalent capabilities. Interested firms must upload documentation via www.myvendorlink.com to prove they can meet or exceed the specified requirements. The procurement will be evaluated by the General Manager of Procurement Services and Procurement Officer, who will determine whether to proceed with the sole source designation based on responses received.

The opportunity appears to be unrestricted in terms of vendor participation, with no specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises mentioned. Curriculum Associates is positioning this as a unique platform with specialized features, including adaptive assessment, normed data, alignment with district Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) plans, and integrated instructional resources. The procurement includes comprehensive technical infrastructure support, such as hosting, data management, provisioning, and ongoing implementation check-ins. While specific award values are not explicitly stated, the licensing tiers suggest a scalable contract that can accommodate varying district needs. The sole source justification emphasizes the platform's distinctive approach, which Curriculum Associates argues cannot be replicated by alternative vendors, potentially indicating a high-value contract that could span multiple years of educational technology implementation for Hillsborough County Public Schools.
