About this opportunity
The City of Nashville, located in Berrien County, Georgia, is seeking sealed bids for a Neighborhood Improvement Project funded through an ARPA grant (Grant No. GA-0013816). The procurement involves a comprehensive infrastructure development initiative that includes street improvements, installation of a splash pad, parking lot construction, and walking trail development with new and repaired sidewalks. Bidders must submit proposals to the Nashville City Hall Purchasing Agent by Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 2:00 pm, with bids to be publicly opened at that time. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 10:00 am at Nashville City Hall, providing potential contractors an opportunity to review project details. The project requires a bid bond that will be forfeited if the selected contractor fails to execute the contract and provide performance and payment bonds within 10 days of award notification. The total project timeline is 180 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with the successful bidder expected to furnish all necessary materials, labor, tools, and equipment to complete the multi-purpose park project.
While no specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are explicitly mentioned in the procurement documents, the City of Nashville reserves the right to select the most advantageous bidder after a comprehensive evaluation. The project appears to be open to qualified contractors capable of delivering the specified infrastructure improvements. There are no indications of incumbent vendors or specific technology integration requirements mentioned in the available documentation. The procurement does not specify a precise budget range or award value, though the scope of work suggests a significant municipal infrastructure investment. Interested contractors should carefully review the attached documents, including Addendum 1 and the Bid Advertisement, to fully understand the project specifications, submission requirements, and potential contract parameters.
