About this opportunity
The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is soliciting statements of qualifications on behalf of Augusta Technical College through an electronic Request for Qualified Contractors (eRFQC) to identify qualified HVAC service contractors capable of providing chiller maintenance and repair services for seven air-cooled Trane chillers located at four campus locations serving Richmond County and the Atlanta City areas. This procurement will establish a pre-qualified supplier list rather than award a direct contract, with selected contractors eligible to participate in future competitive bids for a renewable annual maintenance and repair services contract with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2022. The scope of work encompasses full-service maintenance and repair services for the identified chillers across Augusta Technical College's four campuses serving five counties east of Atlanta, Georgia. Qualified respondents must demonstrate HVAC service expertise and the capability to service air-cooled Trane chiller systems. The opportunity was posted on March 14, 2022, with an initial due date of April 8, 2022, and Addendum One was posted on March 25, 2022, incorporating changes to the solicitation requirements. A mandatory prebid conference and onsite site visit are required for interested contractors to discuss the contract scope and specifications.
The solicitation documentation does not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or preferences for particular organization types in the provided information. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available materials. The requirement to service existing Trane chiller infrastructure at the four college campuses represents the primary technology integration consideration for responding contractors. The specific award value or anticipated contract budget range is not disclosed in the posted opportunity details, though the renewable annual contract structure suggests ongoing funding availability for qualified suppliers selected to the pre-qualified contractor list.
