About this opportunity
Henry County is seeking competitive sealed bids for a disaster debris monitoring services annual contract, identified as BID #25-64. The procurement solicits qualified vendors to provide comprehensive debris monitoring services, which will require the successful contractor to furnish all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to meet the contract's terms and conditions. Bids must be submitted by April 30, 2025, at 3:00 PM local time, with submissions accepted through the County's eProcurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/henryga. Electronic submissions are mandatory, with mail, common carrier, in-person deliveries, emails, and faxed bids explicitly disqualified. The county has established a sixty-day bid withdrawal restriction, during which proposals cannot be retracted except as permitted by Official Code of Georgia Annotated (OCGA). Henry County reserves the right to reject any proposals and waive technical irregularities in the bidding process.
The procurement documentation does not explicitly specify set-aside designations for disadvantaged businesses or provide specific details about incumbent vendors or existing technological infrastructure. No precise budget range or award value is directly stated in the available information. The contract appears to be an annual agreement for disaster debris monitoring services, suggesting potential activation during emergency or post-disaster recovery scenarios. While specific qualification requirements are not detailed in the provided overview, the solicitation implies that vendors must demonstrate capability in comprehensive debris monitoring services. The procurement is specifically targeted at vendors with expertise in managing and documenting debris removal and recovery processes, likely requiring specialized technical knowledge and operational capabilities in emergency response and infrastructure restoration.
