UNSPSC 92111707: Naval or submarine maneuvers

UNSPSC 92111707 Naval or submarine maneuvers is a Commodity code that does not map meaningfully to state and local government procurement activity. The recent opportunities tagged under this code span disaster debris removal, emergency management consulting, hazard mitigation planning, mass notification systems, emergency responder communication systems, paratransit transportation, and airport fire training—none of which involve naval operations, military maneuvers, or maritime combat simulation. State and local procurement offices appear to have misclassified these opportunities, likely due to tagging errors or overly broad category assignment in source systems.

No state and local government opportunities with genuine relevance to naval or submarine maneuver services posted in the recent window. The code shows no active market for the work its name describes among counties, cities, school districts, transit authorities, or other local public bodies. Pursue only if your firm serves federal military customers (Navy, Defense Department) rather than state and local agencies, or if you can establish that this code systematically captures a different activity that state procurement offices actually use it for. Verify the intended UNSPSC mapping before committing resources.
