About this opportunity
The City of Pembroke Pines in Broward County, Florida, is conducting a procurement for network cameras through Invitation for Bid # TS-25-07, targeting the Technology Services Department's surveillance infrastructure. The solicitation seeks to replace broken or end-of-life cameras and expand surveillance capabilities across various city locations. Specifically, the procurement involves 194 Axis cameras across 9 different models, including bullet cameras, panoramic cameras, network cameras, and PTZ cameras. Vendors must submit bids electronically through the city's OpenGov e-Procurement portal, with questions due by April 7, 2025, and final bid submissions required by April 15, 2025, at 2:00 pm, followed by a public bid opening at 2:30 pm the same day. Qualified firms must complete standard documentation including non-collusive affidavits, equal benefits certifications, drug-free workplace certifications, and E-Verify system compliance. The deliverables must be completed within 30 calendar days of the city's purchase order issuance.
The procurement includes preferential considerations for local businesses, with a 5% preference for Pembroke Pines vendors and a 2.5% preference for Broward County vendors. Additional preferences may be applied for veteran-owned, minority-owned, and women-owned businesses. No grant or federal funding is specified for this project, and no proposal security, bid bonds, payment, or performance bonds are required. The estimated project budget is $160,000, with the city reserving the right to reject any or all bids and to award contracts based on the most responsive and responsible proposer. The solicitation does not indicate any specific incumbent vendors or existing integration requirements. Vendors must demonstrate compliance with standard municipal procurement regulations and provide comprehensive documentation of their capabilities to supply and potentially install the specified network camera systems.
