Armored Car Services

The Texas Tech University System (TTUS), including Texas Tech University (TTU) and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC), is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced vendors to provide Armored Car Services. The services include picking up TTUS financial assets and securities from specified locations, primarily in Lubbock County and Lubbock City, and delivering them to designated financial institution destinations. The RFP outlines a comprehensive list of 38 pickup locations across the TTUS campuses, with pricing per service and service frequency requirements. Proposers are asked to list any additional TTUS locations they can service. The RFP covers the scope of work, mandatory requirements, contractor responsibilities, compensation and fees, invoicing and payment terms, and the opportunity for alternate proposals. The maximum contract term is four years with four one-year renewal options.

The RFP states that TTUS has established HUB procurement goals and will consider HUB utilization in the evaluation. The RFP also notes that TTUS may extend the awarded contract to other institutions of higher education, local governments, and state agencies through group purchasing authority. Proposers are expected to offer pricing and terms that account for potential increased volume from these additional entities. The RFP does not provide any information about incumbent vendors or current contract values.
