Special inspections are required for structural steel, concrete, reinforcing bar welding, post-installed anchors, and wood construction assemblies.

Proposals are evaluated on experience with similar projects and quality of example work (50%), familiarity with the project area and landscape (10%), fee schedule (30%), and schedule/timeline (10%). The County will negotiate with the highest-ranked contractor; if agreement cannot be reached, negotiations proceed with subsequent ranked contractors. Contract commencement is anticipated for July 24, 2026, with substantial completion required by November 30, 2026. The County may extend the contract term up to three years and reserves the right to cancel with 30 days' written notice. Questions are due July 10, 2026. Proposals must be submitted through the Bonfire procurement system. Contractors must provide general liability, automobile, and workers' compensation insurance.
