About this opportunity
South Delta School District in Mississippi is requesting proposals for direct student intervention and academic improvement services for the 2026-2027 school year, with proposals due July 16, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. CST. Services cover evidence-based interventions in English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science across three grade spans (Elementary Grades 2–5, Middle School Grades 6–8, High School Grades 9–12) at three campuses in Rolling Fork and Anguilla serving approximately 550 students.
All contracts will be funded exclusively with federal funds and must comply with 2 CFR 200, FERPA, PPRA, and COPPA. Vendors must carry comprehensive general liability insurance with minimum $1,000,000 coverage and workers' compensation insurance for Mississippi.
Services will be performed during regular school days, excluding testing windows and scheduled holidays, and must be completed prior to the spring 2027 Mississippi Academic Assessment Program administration. Proposals must include vendor background and relevant experience in demographically similar districts within the past three years, knowledge of Mississippi College and Career Readiness Standards, personnel resumes, and at least three professional references. Vendors must submit a daily rate proposal encompassing all service expenses; indirect costs are prohibited.
The District will evaluate proposals on a 100-point scale: organizational experience (20 points), program design (35 points), cost efficiency and service (20 points), and program operations (25 points). The successful vendor will serve as a strategic partner, meeting daily with school principals, submitting daily work reports, and collaborating to monitor student progress and evaluate program effectiveness.
The District reserves the right to award one or multiple contracts or no contract at all. Proposals may be submitted via hard copy (5 copies per grade span) or electronically to eddwinsmith@sdelta.org. Written questions are due July 2, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. CST.
