About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Cyberspace and Digital Policy (CDP) is seeking applications for the Foreign Assistance Leveraged for Cybersecurity Operational Needs (FALCON) project, a cooperative agreement to establish and maintain a reservoir of commercial cybersecurity and technology capabilities. The objective is to support U.S. allies and partners in preventing, responding to, mitigating, and recovering from cybersecurity incidents. Eligible applicants include U.S.-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations and for-profit organizations. The application deadline is 11:59 PM EDT on August 9, 2024.
The Department of State anticipates awarding 1-3 cooperative agreements totaling up to $10 million, with a 36-month period of performance. The project aligns with the Department's Digital Connectivity and Cybersecurity Partnership (DCCP) and the Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors (CHIPS) Act of 2022. The project aims to deliver crisis and non-crisis incident prevention and response resources, as well as short-to-medium-term technical assistance, to support U.S. partners globally.
