About this opportunity
The Vermont Army National Guard is seeking a full food service support contractor for the Regional Training Institute (RTI) from January through June 2025. The solicitation (W912LN-25-Q-A006) requires a vendor to prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals according to specified 14-day menu cycles across five separate training periods. Contractors must meet commercial quality standards for food preparation, portion control, meal service, and food safety/sanitation. The government will evaluate offers based on three primary factors: experience, past performance, and price, with vendors required to submit documentation demonstrating their capabilities in food service delivery. Quotes are due by 10:00 am EST on December 19, 2024, with questions from potential bidders accepted until December 16, 2024.
This contract is designated as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 722310, with a size standard of $47.0 million. The solicitation covers meal service for 64-128 participants per meal period, totaling 25 Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) across hot breakfast, bag lunch, IDT hot lunch, hot lunch, and hot dinner services. Performance will occur at the Camp Johnson facility in Colchester, Vermont, with five distinct performance periods from January 3 to June 27, 2025. While no incumbent is mentioned, the government will provide facility, equipment, and cleaning supplies, with the contractor responsible for providing food products. Meal quantities are expected to remain consistent, with potential variations of no more than 10%, and the government indicates this is a new requirement with a single vendor to be awarded before January 3, 2025.
