About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation W912LN-25-Q-A006, which seeks full food service support for the Vermont Army National Guard Regional Training Institute from January to June 2025. Questions were due by December 16, 2024, at 10:00 am EST, with responses due by December 19, 2024, at 10:00 am EST.

Key details clarified through the Q&A include: this is a new requirement with no incumbent; award will be made to a single vendor before January 3, 2025; quantities listed in CLINs are for the entire training period, not per day; service equipment cannot remain on-site between classes; meal quantities are not expected to vary more than 10% from estimates; and while there is a confidential budget ceiling, vendors are responsible for setting their own unit prices. The solicitation is a small business set-aside requiring valid SAM registration. Vendors may use either the provided Excel spreadsheet or Quote Submission template for pricing, and service will be delivered across five training periods between January 3 and June 27, 2025.

ANSWER: No.

4. Will one awardee be selected for all 5 classes?

ANSWER: Yes

5. Per 3.1, are you asking for additional documents outside of what was required to fill out in the solicitation package? Please clarify this response format as it seems all items in the “Quote Submission” document seem to cover this requirement.

ANSWER: It is up to the offeror whether to use the “Quote Submission” template or not. The template is intended to help offerors structure quotes that address all submission requirements spelled out in the Addendum to 52.212-1. Each offeror retains responsibility for quote completeness.

Offerors should ensure their registration reflects their small business status in the relevant NAICS code.

ANSWER: Yes. If the government does not receive a compliant quote within the funding that has been allotted for this requirement it may be cancelled. The amount of allotted funding is confidential.

ANSWER: Before 03JAN2025

ANSWER: This is a new requirement.

13. Please provide a copy of current meal rates.
