Amendment 0005 of subject Request For Proposal (RFP) is expected to be posted within the next week. Any additional questions in response to this amendment or the RFP itself must be submitted to the identified Points of Contact (POCs) no later than 13 November 2009.
Update #8 ·
The VDATS IPT has reviewed requests for extention to the proposal due date of 16 Nov 2009 established in Amendment 0002 of the subject Request For Proposal (RFP). The data changes established in Amendment 0002 were the primary reasons for extension requests. With the exception of the part number changes identified in Amendment 0002, the changes made provided clarification to existing information and did not alter the original intent of the RFP. Additionally, the technical orders were provided to further enhance understanding of the VDATS program but do not contribute any more information than was already provided in the Level III drawing package as part of the original RFP.
As a result of the above and in consideration of the requests for extension for submittal of proposals established in Amendment 0002, the subject RFP will be extended from 16 Nov 2009 to 30 Nov 2009.
The amendment extending the proposal due date is forthcoming and will be issued no later than 10 Nov 2009.
