About this opportunity
The United States Coast Guard seeks monthly pest control services at multiple facilities across South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida, with proposals due June 26, 2026 at 5:00 PM Eastern Time. This is a Total Small Business set-aside and an unrestricted acquisition on an all-or-none basis, with the Government intending to select one contractor at lowest price.
Place of performance spans 11 USCG locations: Base Charleston (177,262 square feet across nine buildings); Air Station Savannah (65,265 square feet); Sector Jacksonville (47,832 square feet); Air Facility Charleston (one building at 3001 Transatlantic Way, Johns Island, South Carolina); Station Port Canaveral; and facilities in New Smyrna Beach, Tybee Island, Brunswick, Georgetown, and one new location at 2301 South Hobson Avenue, North Charleston, South Carolina (5,000 square feet, bi-monthly service beginning September 1, 2026). Total scope covers approximately 467,588 square feet across 57 buildings and 125.6 acres.
All pest control applicators must hold current state pesticide application certificates or licenses. Pesticide mixing and storage must occur off-installation. Emergency pest removal must occur within eight hours of notification, subject to unit procedures and state labor regulations. The contractor must develop an EPA and OSHA-compliant Integrated Pest Management plan and establish a quality control program with systematic inspections and customer service call/emergency response capability. Services address rodents, ants, wasps, bees, cockroaches, termites, crickets, and other pests as determined by facility requirements.
The contract runs July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 (base year) with two option years. NAICS code 561710 applies with a $19.5 million size standard. Evaluation weighs technical capability (acceptable/unacceptable) and price (lowest). Service Contract Act wage determinations for South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida apply. Offerors must submit price breakdowns separating labor and materials on their own estimate sheets, include active UEI and Tax ID numbers, and acknowledge receipt of Amendments A00002 and A00003 issued June 15 and June 17. A Question and Answers document dated June 17 clarifies service frequencies, emergency timelines, and facility locations.
