About this opportunity

The United States Capitol Police (USCP) has issued a Special Notice for a Combined Request for Information (RFI)/Synopsis/Solicitation focused on Maintenance, Repair, and Maintenance-Driven Lifecycle Installations of Electronic Security Systems. The procurement will utilize a two-phase, down-select process designed to evaluate and narrow potential vendors for a comprehensive electronic security system maintenance contract. The notice invites interested vendors to participate in an in-person Pre-Proposal Conference and submit responses to an RFI as part of the initial phase. Participation in the RFI is mandatory for consideration in subsequent phases, though submission does not guarantee advancement. The USCP will use the RFI responses to inform and finalize the Performance Work Statement and refine the eventual Request for Proposal.

Contractors interested in this opportunity must complete several key steps to be considered, including submitting a Non-Disclosure Agreement and requesting a physical RFI CD from the contract specialist, Linh Williams. The Pre-Proposal Conference is scheduled for November 27, 2024, at the USCP Fairchild Building, with attendance limited to two representatives per company. Vendor questions are due by December 2, 2024, and RFI responses must be submitted no later than December 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM EST. The USCP anticipates selecting 3-5 highly qualified offerors to advance to Phase II, though they reserve the right to adjust this number based on evaluation findings. Eligible vendors must have a valid CAGE code and Unique Entity ID, and will be verified through the System for Award Management website. The ultimate objective is to identify a vendor capable of providing comprehensive maintenance and repair services for the agency's Electronic Security System assets.
