About this file

This is Amendment #3 to a Combined RFI/Synopsis/Solicitation for Maintenance, Repair, and Maintenance-Driven Lifecycle Installations of Electronic Security Systems for the United States Capitol Police (USCP). The amendment, dated December 6, 2024, provides several key updates: PowerPoint slides from the pre-proposal conference have been shared, a list of 21 companies that attended the November 27, 2024 pre-proposal conference is provided, and changes have been made to Sections E (RFI Response Requirements) and F (RFI Evaluation).

Previous amendments (1 and 2) outlined that contractor presentations are scheduled for December 18-20, 2024, with 30-minute slots assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. The RFI responses are due by December 13, 2024 at 2:00PM EST. Access to the RFI CD, Q&As, and amendment details requires execution of an NDA and submission of company information to the Contract Specialist. This is part of a two-phase down-select process where only selected vendors from Phase I will be invited to participate in Phase II's formal RFP. Major companies attending the pre-proposal conference included SAIC, Motorola Solutions, Siemens Government Technologies, Johnson Controls Inc., and M.C. Dean Inc.
