All work must comply with NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code) and NFPA 13 (Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems). The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, services, tools, equipment, and supervision. Work is performed Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm unless otherwise specified, with schedule change requests requiring 24 hours' notice.

The NAICS code is 92216 (Fire Protection); PSC code is K012 (Modification of Equipment—Fire Control Equipment). Evaluation criteria, applied under FAR 52.212-2, are price, past performance, and technical capability. Past performance and technical capability combined are more important than price alone. The original solicitation did not yield sufficient bids to determine fair and reasonable pricing, resulting in this reopening.

Bids will be evaluated under FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation—Commercial Products and Commercial Services.

(a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
