The National Park Service, Pacific West Region is seeking sources to diagnose septic tank issues at Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area through a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) issued on January 6, 2026. The procurement focuses on septic tank and related services under NAICS code 562991, with a size standard of $9,000,000. The procurement includes three potential components: diagnosis and repair estimate of the septic system (30-day performance period), septic tank pumping of a 10,000-gallon tank (12-month performance period), and repair or replacement of the septic system (60-month performance period). The government anticipates awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the diagnostic phase, with subsequent components potentially solicited following diagnosis completion. Both large and small businesses are encouraged to respond, with the final determination of any small business or socio-economic set-aside based on the quality and volume of market research responses received. The project is located at Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area in a suburban/rural area with adequate staging available at the park.
