About this file
This Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is from the National Park Service's Contracting Operations - West, seeking market research for septic tank services at Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. The project involves three potential components: (1) diagnosis and repair estimate of the septic system (30-day performance period), including camera scoping and repair report; (2) septic tank pumping of a 10,000-gallon tank (12-month performance period); and (3) repair or replacement of the septic system (60-day performance period). The National Park Service anticipates issuing a competitive Request for Quotations (RFQ) in early February 2026, awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract for the diagnostic phase, with subsequent components potentially solicited after diagnosis completion. Responses are requested from both large and small businesses, with the possibility of a small business or socio-economic set-aside based on market research findings. Interested contractors must submit a completed Sources Sought Survey Questionnaire by 2:00 PM PST on January 20, 2026, to Quinn_Rankin@nps.gov, with the NAICS code 562991 for Septic Tank and Related Services and a size standard of $9,000,000.
